As of the end of July, the short-term external debt stock increased by 10.7% compared to the end of 2021 and reached USD 134.6 billion. In this period, banks’ short-term external debt stock increased by 7.6% and reached 55.3 billion US dollars, while the short-term external debt stock of other sectors increased by 12.2% and reached 49.5 billion US dollars.
